Dayton Community Connection Projects

Choose to reuse is where citizen bring items in good condition that they do not need, but others may need or can use.  The items are given at no cost, and are taken at no cost.  The purpose of the "Town of Dayton - Choose to reuse" is to allow residents to share with others and to get to know their neighbors.  There will be Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer events.

We are committed to providing our community with the resources necessary to ensure our lakes, rivers, and streams remain clean and healthy.  If you'd like to help ensure our boat landings are clean so that everyone can enjoy the beauty of our community, then volunteer to help to keep the boat landings clean.

We believe in helping our neighbors that's why we set up volunteer opportunities for those who want to give back to their community. We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities to suit your individual skills and interests. Whether it's light yard work, dog walking, shopping, general cleanup, visitations, mending/repairing clothing, PC/email, or something else, we have something for everyone.  Give back!

Crystal River Clean-up offers a unique opportunity for volunteers to make a positive impact on their local environment. This project provides a great way to spend a day outside, while also helping to restore the beauty and recreation of the Crystal River. This project works to keep the river clean and safe for everyone to enjoy.

This group of volunteers works to keep our trails clean and safe. We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the natural beauty of our local environment.

The goal of this team is to document and preserve the history of the Town of Dayton while also recording what's happening today.
